  The view of Boston from Charlestown is pretty great. Some of the passengers took the ferry just for the view.
  
  I have the Zone 1A T pass so I ride the ferry for free.

  Get there by boat from the Aquarium T stop.

  I love ferry rides, being from Hong Kong, which has many ferries that travel across the narrow Victoria Harbor. This ferry ride is longer (than Star Ferry in Hong Kong), and feels much more relaxing. I had a weekly pass for the transit, and this ferry is part of the transit system so I paid no extra for the ride. This is an exceptional value. The ferry travels between the Long Wharf South (in front of Legal Seafoods), and Charlestown Navy Shipyard. At Charlestown, I took a walk crossing an old but very neat neighborhood up to Bunker Hill Monument. It was a very comfortable hike. I highly recommend the short hike if weather is nice.

  You can take a boat from chest own navy yard to New England Aquarium. Just $3.50 ferry fee. Beautiful ocean view.
