If you have ever hunted season after season, for the perfect, warm, long, down coat that doesn't look like you're wearing a sleeping bag, then you will understand how I felt when the zipper failed in mine. I was more than willing to shell out a fair price for a complete zipper replacement at Ashmont. The talented seamstress was at lunch, the owner took a look at my zipper and repaired it in seconds with needle nose pliers. Oh my goodness! No charge! I AM a regular customer, but it's not like I'm there every week. I love this place! Ashmont has fair prices, my clothes are always nicely cleaned. The tailoring is wonderful, and the family that run the place are gracious and pleasant all the time. Give them a try!
