(April 24, 2018, 1:29 pm)Moved her in August of 2017 from Knoxville Tennessee, after searching out many many apartments we chose Rumney flats.
Apartment is very nice and spacious.
Management is friendly and kind, hallways are kept clean, grounds are clean very nice.
(June 14, 2017, 7:23 am)I leased a 2-bedroom apt. and was looking forward to live in a brand new building with modern fitness,club room and my apartment. Was I wrong! By the end of first week I realized that I made such a mistake moving here. The hallways, stairs and carpet in the elevator were full of stains from dogs pee. Even the grass outside the building had yellow spots from dogs pee. I was among first tenants in the complex. For months I didn't see anybody vacuum the hallways in upper floors- they only cleaned first floor hallway and fitness and club room.
Management stuff are not very helpful and honest people.
And if that was not bad enough my first water bill was shock I couldn't recuperate from for months. Water usage and sewer were billed to us tenants with commercial rate. My water bill was as much as my 1-week paycheck!
I started taking to wash my laundry in public laundromat to save money paid on water- can you imagine having washer and dryer in your apartment and taking your laundry to be washed somewhere else.
Place is full of people who smoke pot inside the building even in fitness room- once around 2:00 am smoke alarm woke us up and the fire department came and realized that somebody smoke pot in the gym and that set fire alarm off.
Complex is close to shopping area and you can hear trucks' engines and ACs working during summer months all night long.
Marsh area is everything but scenic- it is full of skunks, it smells bad and kanal is not cleaned.
Parking space is full by 10:00 pm and you have to park your car next to garbage disposal area and walk to your building. Parking spaces are not signed and there is not security, some cars were broken in during winter months - letter about that was posted in hallway next to the entrance door.
To sum it up- this place is awful in any possible way - I wish I had somebody to tell me the truth about this place. I would save a lot of my money and my health.
