(March 2, 2019, 5:56 pm)We live on Cape Cod, about 1 to 2 hours to Logan Airport. My wife was flying to Atlanta early. Snowstorm predicted for overnight and morning. Decided to go to Boston to stay overnight, making it easier to get to airport on time.
Found The Winthrop Arms Hotel, 10 minutes from Logan. Best decision I've made in a while. Quaint 10 room hotel on the water in Winthrop. Rooms and bathrooms clean and comfortable. Also happens to have a great little restaurant and bar on the main floor. My wife likes to go to Atlanta to visit her daughter and grandson which usually means an early flight. I'll never get up at 4 am to make a 8 am flight again. You'll find me at the Winthrop Arms Restaurant and Hotel! -

(February 28, 2019, 7:29 pm)Very good dinners. Service was excellent. Drinks were reasonably priced. Both plates were empty when we left. Overall bill was $55 for two including a drink each and also a coffee to finish the meal.

(January 25, 2019, 7:32 pm)My favorite place to eat. The food is excellent, great portions, cooked to your liking. The staff is wonderful & attentive to your needs. I had the new York sirloin, absolutely wonderful, my husband had the broiled seafood platter & love it. Best small town comfortable restaurant ever.
