“Would recommend to anyone of any age. My husband and I liked it more than my 2 kids did I think. Definitely plan on staying the whole day or you might not get through the whole place. So much to look at and play with. Amazing place if you love science and history. Food was okay and gift shop was a disappointment. Not a lot of selection for such a big museum like that. Parking garage is kinda expensive so prepare for that too..”

“Interesting historical spot. Not sure if one can enter, but certainly would be nice to see the inside...otherwise it is a nice spot and not far from Carson Beach, so make it a stroll around the area and beach.”

“Courteous staff, beautiful modern facilities in an older building, free and open to the public. Hosts several temporary art exhibitions each year. Located atop a small hill halfway between two stops on the MBTA Boston College Green Line trolley. Fully handicap accessible. Nice local view from rooftop terrace.”

“There was an amazing amount of interactive stuff to do at the museum. We also went to see a live animal show which was really fun. We were a group of adults and it was nice that everything was aimed at people of all ages. We were lucky enough to be there at the same time as the Dog exhibit, which is where we ended up spending most of our time. The view of the river when you first walk in is stunning as well. We were visiting from out of town so it was amazing to see the river and learn about the waves at the same time.”

“Finally got to visit the museum part of this facility. The display area is mostly on the first floor but it is dense with information. They also have one of the original copies of the Declaration of Independence.”

“Great place to learn about the history and inner workings of the US Senate, plus the life and times of one of its longest-serving members, Edward (Ted) Kennedy. Visitors are handed handheld devices to help them navigate the museum and interact with the exhibitions. The space is huge but has just the right amount of exhibitions, so the experience is not overwhelming. Check out the large hall recreating the actual US Senate chamber in DC, where you can get a feel for what it's like to be a US senator voting on issues and legislation. The staff are all pleasant and helpful. There is a gift shop and cafeteria on-site.”

“Amazing place from the beautiful building on the waterfront to the thoughtfully laid out exhibits. Going from the almost dark warehouse-like campaign exhibits to the bright and posh White House decor is quite the transformation to walk through. I've been here several times and the staff is always very friendly and helpful. This time I caught part of the guided tour which I highly recommend. Get there early and plan on spending a minimum of 2 or 3 hours. Definitely catch the short film when you first walk in as well as the one in the Cuban Missile Crises. Both very interesting and informative. Before, or after, take a walk on the harborwalk next to the museum and take in the architecture of the building and amazing water views. The only drawback, and the reason for 4 stars and not 5, is there's not enough on display considering what must be stored in the 7 stories above the exhibit. Especially pertaining to his personal life. Also, there's a treasure of Ernest Hemingway's personal items stored up there as well and they barely scratch the surface on it. There's 100 milestones and mementos" on display through Nov. 2019 that might be easy to miss if you're not aware of it that's worth checking out as well.”

“LOL... I work on the BHC commuter boats and go by the Nantucket Lightship several times a week. I am only putting this review in so it will stop popping up on my feed. I imagine it is a great venue to visit but I cannot say that I've been there myself.”

“My teen is a basketball fanatic and he was in a zone just seeing TD Garden!!! Our tour guide, Catherine Bogart, was AMAZING!!! She shared so much information and answered every question the kiddos asked. We thoroughly enjoyed our Sports Museum tour and are planning to return in the summer for the TD Garden tour.”

“The building is good, it has an auditorium, classrooms, and some nice spaces but is a little outdated. The auditorium is nice but doesn't have the best acoustics for singing. Could be a really great facility with just a few renovations/updates.”

“Who knows what up with this place but I'm sure they're passing off the neighborhood with the awesome yellow paint (probably the only thing that's not brick in all of beacon Hill. This cool house has awesome cat gargoyles, a beautiful sunflower relief and harkens back to the day when there were single family homes in Beacon Hill. I'd love to know more about it!”
