(November 20, 2019, 1:53 am)Great zoo, but we visited in October, so a lot of the enclosures were empty. I can see that during the peak months, Southwick's Zoo is THE place to go for some good-natured family fun. I'd like to return with my family in the warmer months to experience the zoo at its full glory.
(November 19, 2019, 7:54 am)What a great zoo! I liked to see that the animals had new and spacious areas to live. The zoo is arranged so that the crowds are dispersed to different areas. The natural surroundings provide shade so it is comfortable for walking around. Playground and picnic areas a plus.
(November 15, 2019, 9:12 am)Great zoo. I have been to world class zoos in New York and this zoo is definitely top on the list of great zoos. We visited the goat petting zoo with our boy and we thoroughly enjoyed all of the amazing animals throughout the zoo. It was a FANTASTIC experience!
(November 13, 2019, 2:16 pm)Love coming to Southwick's every year. They have so many animals, including Rhinos which are so cool to see! The whole park is surrounded by a forest which is great in the hot summers. It's so nice walking around seeing the animals and feeling like you're walking through a forest something I wish Roger Williams had more of. They also have a large Deer Forest that you can walk around feeding the deer and just enjoying nature. That also surprisingly good food there and we love love love the Sky Gondola ride!
(November 9, 2019, 8:28 pm)Great zoo, much bigger than expected and a lot of animals you would normally only see at a larger zoo. Clean and friendly staff. Plenty of parking, easy to get in and out of, but I'd prefer if admission prices were a little lower. I've been about 4 times now and will go back again plenty more!
