“All around good experience, good food, the portions are large. Not too pricey, lots of options for whatever you might be in the mood for. Staff were polite.”

“It's a small place but their food is excellent and the service is always good. I only gave 3 stars for atmosphere because I think they could spruce up the place better, hang some pictures or have accent lighting.”

“RUN DON’T WALK!! Very friendly staff. This place had amazing food, drinks and music. The customer service was absolutely amazing and it was a very very clean venue. My waiter answered all of my questions and was so friendly. The drinks were yummy and strong. My first time going and I’m already going back tomorrow! The food was so good, fresh and flavorful. I was also able to take home free chips and tasty salsa. Prices are also great. Garcia por todo!”

“This is my family's go-to for cheese and pepperoni pizza. The pizza always comes piping hot with cheese-pull. They take the word "extra" very seriously when we order extra cheese or extra pepperoni. The occasional chicken alfredo and meatballs (separate dishes) are very good too with the grilled chicken being nicely charred and the meatballs being smooth and flavorful.”

“Ordered a BBQ Burger with Tots in Cajun spices. The burger was cooked to perfection, cheese was perfectly melted, and the bacon was crispy. The tots were not overly cooked and not underdone. I would put the Cajun spice on everything if I could. Staff was friendly, efficient, and helpful. If I could, I would rename this place "Goldilocks" because it's just right. I wish I took photos, but I ate the food too fast.”

“Absolutely enjoyed the coal fired wings. Fries were perfectly crunchy. All the various pizzas were delectable. Have to send some praise their way on the "Enzo" pizza.”

“Been here several times for a quick breakfast sandwich on the go. This time I came in for lunch and tried their cheeseburger deluxe. Fantastic, was not expecting this kind of quality for a quick grab and go. Charbroiled burger, fresh veggies, and neatly stacked. Hard to find a good burger locally and would never have thought to come here. Must try if you are close by.”

“Was able to get a reservation sort of last minute for my birthday and I’m so glad I was able to! This was probably one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I love how everything is farm to table and the menu changes daily, such a fun twist. I got the bucatini with lobster and it was unreal, with such a generous portion of fresh lobster. Yes, it is a little pricey but it’s not overpriced for the quality of food & amount that you’re getting. My only slight complaint is that it was a little dark at night and my mom couldn’t see that well, but that didn’t take away from the amazing dining experience we had. I will definitely come back the next time I’m in Gloucester!”

“I love this place! The food is delicious and the service is quick! They are also so kind! Once I was waiting for food and commented that one of the desserts looked good and they offered me a sample - the sample was just a full dessert for no charge. Another time I called after placing and order to tell them we actually needed one of the meals to be gluten free and they were able to accommodate that and made my friend her own little platter - also at no additional charge! Highly recommend!”

“Great condition and layout. Good for beginners. Clear signs to the next hole. Green condition is great. Staff are friendly. Love the views by the water. The snack shed is perfect without having to wait for the turn to get food.”

“Came for the $15 prime rib on Mondays. It definitely did not disappoint! Cooked exactly the way I ordered. Had asparagus and a side Caesar salad that was huge btw. A little up charge for the salad but totally worth it. The prime rib was a little different from others I’ve had before. It was a little sweet which was interesting but totally good. Other than that my other reviewer had the Mac and cheese. She said it was a bit cheesy but I don’t find that a problem at all. Haha. Definitely will be back. Oh and they also have KENO! Always a plus.”

“Classic hometown diner vibes, very friendly and cosy atmosphere with solid breakfast and lunch dishes. The homemade hash was diciois and egg were runny perfectly. I hope it never changes. Cash only but they have an ATM.”

“I love this place. They have a very unique breakfast buffet with an awesome coffee to back it up. They also have a lunch buffet with barbecue. They also operate a butcher shop and a small supermarket as well as perform money transfers. It’s a all in one place for Brazilians and all others alike. If you’re hungry, come right in.”

“Our first trip to the area, Pier 6's menu, met our interest! Our server, Ivana, was so friendly, very attentive, and a pleasant part of our memories from here. Our cocktails were quite tasty with enough spirits to keep us warm. Topnotch menu, preparation & presentation, and so good. Hubs loved the small oysters, I had my dessert first as usual, our entrees we're amazing! Oh, that view!”

“I haven't tried their pizza yet. But they have fantastic baklava so you know the pizza is gonna be real pizza when I do decide to get it. I got a large toasted Italian sub with the works. It was so good. They dice all the veggies. They made it just how I asked for it and when I picked it up, they were super friendly. I would definitely come here again. I came back and got a steak bomb. I tried to stop at half, but...the flavor was so good I ate the whole thing.”

“Baked haddock was great, risotto was some of the best I've had. Filled with zucchini, mushrooms, spinach, cherry tomatoes, bacon and they do not skimp on the scallops! Amazing dish. The mac n cheese was also top notch, definitely recommend. The tuna tartare had too much large chunks of cucumber, not enough tuna. All around great place to eat.”

“We hosted our high school reunion in the newly renovated function room and could not have found a better spot. VFW officers and members were incredibly welcoming and helpful from reservations through clean-up. Parking was close and plentiful. The room was clean and attractive, with several lighting options and plenty of room for our 65-70 guests. The stage easily accomodated a four piece band. Heating trays for up to six full trays were readily available and convenietly located for our catering and serving. The bar was fully stocked and wonderfully staffed by Becky who was a big hit with our crowd. Overall, we had a great experience at the 7272. The people are great to work with and I'd recommend the facilities without hesitation.”

“Recently attended the country club for a wedding and was super impressed with everything. The grounds were beautiful rolling hills that appear to be well maintained and despite there being a decent amount of people at the club, there appeared to be no wait at any of the greens….it was perfect. Would definitely consider looking into requesting membership or at least trying to wiggle into a tee time on one of the 5 yearly public days.”

“Stopped in for a bite to eat! I rarely leave reviews, but here I am all the way back in NY and thinking of Sierras! We ordered a cheese pizza and Turkey sub. We were visiting from NY, and this is quite honestly the best pizza we have had in years!!! SO GOOD!!! Had the Turkey sub the next day with the thick cut chips I think they are called, or something similar- AGAIN, SO GOOD! Thick cut Turkey, fresh toppings (veggies,) I was shocked. Chips were AMAZING! It’s so rare to find a pizza shop that blows you away. Sierra’s did!!! Also, the staff were so unbelievably kind. Just such a pleasant surprise after a long, long day of traveling. A spotless restaurant too. Pictures do not do the food and experience justice! Wish I got a picture of the sub!”

“Best bagels in the area and worth a drive. Made from scratch daily, boiled large bagels stuffed with homemade cream cheese, try the scallion or honey walnut. All day Breakfast items and deli items. Small patio and porch to enjoy coffee and food. Plain, onion, cinnamon crunch, black russian,, and more.”

“I wish I could remember the bartenders name (the American girl who I think is 50% of the bartender crew) as she was on point. Got a good plate of food and promptly converted a ten dollar bill to $3 on Keno. Managed to settle up before the karaoke started (if that's your bag, go check it out). This place is worth the trek.”

“DO NOT, and I repeat: do NOT get delivery. The portions are smaller. The food is worse. This restaurant is one of the best in Boston for dine in, only. The quality isn't comparable. This was the best American-Chinese food I've gotten in a long time. My friend moved to the area so we decided to try it for dinner on a Monday night. The restaurant itself is huge and feels rather upscale inside! The portions match the restaurant size. I have never, ever seen portions this big. We both got $14.99 dinner combos and couldn't come close to finishing the food. The food itself was AMAZING. The chicken fingers in particular were insanely good. They know their way around a deep fryer in the kitchen. The drinks are about 30% cheaper than what you'd get over the bridge in Boston as well. Highly, highly recommend.”

“Nestled in the picturesque town of Ipswich, Massachusetts, Brown Dog at 14 Central St. is an exemplar of the quintessential New England bar and restaurant. If you're looking to escape Boston's hustle and bustle for the day, perhaps after a scenic tour of Crane Castle, this venue provides a soulful culinary retreat. Overall Service: 4.13/5 Foods: 4/5; Service: 4.5/5, Ambiance: 4/5, Cleanness: 4/5 If you're a seafood aficionado, you'll appreciate the quality that comes with locally-sourced produce. The award-winning clam chowder, for instance, is a revelation. The rich, velvety texture coupled with a robust blend of flavors makes it a must-try item on the menu. For those who lean more towards the land than the sea, the pizzas come highly recommended. The pies offer that sublime combination of a crisp crust and oozy, well-seasoned toppings that will have you planning your next visit before you've even left. The staff strikes the perfect balance between professionalism and local friendliness. Whether you're a seasoned regular or a first-time guest, you're made to feel as if you belong. Adding to the appeal is the charming interior. Pictures of dogs adorn the walls, a detail that particularly delighted me (I know I’m biased here), and local artwork is thoughtfully displayed, even available for purchase. The atmosphere is both inviting and comfortable, embodying the very essence of what a New England bar and restaurant should be. Areas for Improvement: While the venue scores high across multiple categories, there are areas for fine-tuning. (2) The calamari, though featuring a thin and crispy batter, could benefit from using a larger size of squid. This would enhance the textural contrast between the batter and the meat, making for a more balanced and satisfied bite into the ocean treasure. (2) Another minor hiccup was the men's restroom door, which was in need of repair during my visit.”

“The food is twice as good and half the price of Bellingham Palace. The staff are so friendly and attentive. Hands down one of the best places to eat in town.”

“Employees have been nice, the pies are solid, and it's never too busy. They've been out go to in the area for the last couple months after our last preferred place turned out some sub-par pies.”
