(June 27, 2019, 10:37 pm)You will never find service like this again! Seriously, never. Samples of seafood and wine before you order. Attentive, and friendly service. Members of the management stop by to chat with you and get your story. This whole scenario is foreign to us in Chicago. Did I mention the food is phenomenal? Go no further. Just make a reservation and enjoy the experience!
(June 24, 2019, 3:40 pm)Grand Mere has been a family favorite for so long. I finally got to experience it for the first time and was not disappointed at all. I had the escargot appetizer, mushroom soup, and the walleye special and my husband had the duck with peppercorn sauce. Everything was delicious and the entire staff were very friendly, attentive, and fun. I can't wait to go back when I'm in the area again.
(June 23, 2019, 10:54 am)One of my local favorite fine dinning restaurants. Expect a wait in the summer. Great seafood. Good cuts of meat. Fantastic drinks from the bar. The pleasure starts the moment you walk in from the greetings from the host to the fantastic service the wait staff provides. Enjoy a very good multi course meal and a beautiful view of the sunset!
(June 6, 2019, 9:13 pm)Always great food, staff is also great. You should never walk out here hungry! The Grand Mere Inn is great for special occasions and a quick meal in the bar. The pepper artichoke dip was awesome . Thanks!
