Very hard to navigate and you have to pay to download the map. It is also hard to find the beach. The hiking trails are very nice though! It's a lovely area.
Nice state park. Definitely picked the wrong time to come. With all the rain we've been having, trails were flooded in places to totally impassable unless you had waders on. Did find one trail that was higher ground, but we encountered massive biting flies.
It’s a nice hiking park. Parts of the trails were flooded though (mid June), but there are several trails to veer from. It’s very sandy when you get close to the water, like all of this side of Lake Michigan. People along the trail were nice. I wish the water was warmer.
Beautiful and majestic coastline with soft sand, clear water, and plenty of space between Beach goers. Dunes were fun to hike. Sunsets are amazing here. Pure Michigan.
