“Definitely a much smaller kids museum than the Grand Rapids one. That said, the number of activities and the quality are no doubt pretty high. I’d definitely bring my kids back for another visit.”

“This is another interesting part of the same museum that is just few meters away from their kids museum. It’s a nice place situated right next to Lake Michigan and also a wonderful carousel. Not very big, but has some interesting stuff for kids to play with.”

There is a section on the railroad and school history. River Valley high school has the 1979 state basketball champs. The section on the flu epidemic tells of Three Oaks losing more people than anywhere else in the county. The fourth section shows the farming equipment used in the past. The fifth section shows the history of the Warren's and Hunerjagers' department store. The back wall had a display of the movie "Prancer" that was shot in Three Oaks. There are sections of Jumping Joe Sivaldi and John Flynn the Chicago mobster that had a home here. The sixth section tells about the army's Red Arrow division where local soldiers served. There Are typical bedroom and kitchen displays, and a music room display. The center section has sundry items relating to the area.”
