“Went for first time and it was a nice place. Just like any other small store some prices are way too high on some of the bulk items but most of everything else was a cheaper price. They had a nice variety of food and other items. Down fall it when it's busy it is hard to get anywhere we had to fallow a line around the store and move along with it.”

“We came here to get our hundredth and final geocache for the Michigan State Park Centennial Geotour. It was nice to get out of the car and stretch our legs for a little bit, take a short walk. On a warmer day, it would be nice to take the trail farther and see how long it goes. It was kind of nice in the winter, though, because everything wasn't overgrown.”

He was genuine, helpful, and honest every step of the way, which made the entire planning process much easier on us. The property is gorgeous, and made for a beautiful setting for our special day. The house is breathtaking and makes you feel as though you’ve stepped into a time machine. It was the perfect blend of modern amenities with antique/rustic decor. Even weeks after we are still getting compliments on the beautiful venue. All in all, we feel so very blessed to have found Ancestral Acres. It felt like our own little slice of heaven for the weekend. If you’re in the market for a venue, Ancestral Acres is a special place that I couldn’t recommend more.”

“We are fortunate to live near Oscar Browns Tavern - and I say fortunate because the place is excellent. The food is always consistent, the specials are usually so desirable that we usually have to choose between multiple things. Our service is always excellent as they always remember your name and often times your drink choice. Last night we stopped in and it was a busy Friday night (not unusual). Our food was great, the wait was normal (if it was longer we didn’t notice because our drinks we always topped) and our waitress Amy nailed it! Thank you, Oscar, for giving us a fantastic restaurant at Coldwater Lake.”
