Cambrian Assisted Living

My Mother Selma has resided at Cambrian for the last 18 months, initially in the senior living facility and for the last nine-months or so in their memory care facility. Every time I visited Mom I found the staff to be caring, sweet and protective of Mom. The staff is great and was always there to care for Mom.

Lat month my Mom lost her battle with Dementia, slipping into "active passing" during her last two-weeks. The attention given to Mom by Cambrian staff and the hospice care people was wonderful.

When It came time for my 90 year old, vision impaired Mom to go into assisted living I did an exhaustive search of all the assisted living places in Washtenaw and Lenawee County. Immediately Cambrian stood out as in a class by themselves. So we selected Cambrian and at this point my Mom has been there nearly 6 months. This included during state ordered lock downs as well making it even more challenging to make the transition for my Mom and her family. Through it all Cambrian did not disappoint and in fact they, Cambrian provided a level of care AND a truly genuine caring for our seniors that I now believe to be second to none. We are thrilled with Cambrian and most important so is my Mom. She’s making the rounds now and has some friends and looks forward to some of the activities. The care staff is superb in all respects as are the nurses and management. Cambrian is very well managed and families of loved ones are valued as well and welcome with open arms. If I could give Cambrian a 10 star rating I most certainly would. I’ll add that although this was not high on our list Cambrian was more affordable than alternatives while all the while providing a much higher level of real value and true caring. I’m very glad that we went with Cambrian and so is my Mom which is all that really matters. Additionally if you do not live in Tecumseh this is a great town to visit with excellent dining and a bakery that is dangerous.... it's so good. Thank You Cambrian for caring for my Mom!!

Cambrian staff took wonderful care of my Mom . She never said a negative word about any of them. They truly care about their residents as if they are their own family members. It's never an easy decision when it comes time for assisted living for anyone, but they made a very difficult time for all, as well as it could be. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I’ve worked at Cambrian for over 10 Years. I couldn’t imagine working for another Senior Living Community. Cambrian is Family Owned and Operated with Hands on Owners. They promote from within and there are so many great opportunities for growth. We are a Positive Approach to Care Community which is a Teepa Snow philosophy and Cambrian has an in house Coach that offers free training. Our Senior Living Community is absolutely stunning, very clean and feels like home. I wouldn’t hesitate on my family moving in here or even myself one day for that matter! I can’t say enough good things about Cambrian.

I have loved my experiences being on staff at both Cambrian locations. They are positive, uplifting environments where people feel comfortable to share and connect. We laugh, sing and dance often! Activities are tailored to the interests of the residents and are geared to provide outlets with purpose. Jon and the dietary team do a fantastic job of bringing delicious comfort food to the table 3 times a day, every day. The aides and clinical staff truly care about the residents' well being and are intuitive about meeting needs. The maintenance and housekeeping staff are quick to keep things fresh and functioning well. Both facilities are filled with heart and have changed my view about long term care.
