“Sam (the owner) is an awesome mechanic. He is by far one of the best shops I have been to. Not only does he actually drive your vehicle around to test it, but he will tell you that he needs to put it up on the hoist before he gives you an answer on what it might actually be. I have been going to Sam for about 7 years and I have had everything repaired from the most expensive jobs like a transmission to a engine. To the least expensive jobs like brakes. He charges you a reasonable price and he lets you know APPROXIMATELY how long it will take and if it takes longer he will communicate that to you. I will continue to drive all the way to Clinton township to utilize his services because I trust him and his word. I have also recommended many people to him as well. Also not only is he a great mechanic but he offers 1 year warranty for almost EVERYTHING!!!! And yes that warranty has been honored on 2 different occasions. “You know what's annoying about scheduling service for an RV? You make an appointment but upon arrival are told to leave it there, they don't know when they'll get to it. After several days - or weeks - it's FINALLY done and you are presented with an outrageous bill. Oh, and the quality is often suspect. Not at JAM. They took my rig in at the time of the appointment and finished up in a very reasonable time while I waited. The cost was a fraction of what other places quoted for the same work, and the crew was nothing less than awesome. They listen to their customers and don't talk down to you or make assumptions of what you may or may not know. In addition to the requested work, Tom did a quick courtesy inspection of key items and gave me a run-down on overall condition and status. So refreshing to get good service. Thanks, JAM. “This is the most honest oil change/repair shop in the area. When I am in there for an oil change, I am not pressured at all into anything I do not need. I am given fair opinions on things like air filters, and am told when it should to be changed. Thank you so much! My family recommended this place to me and I am so glad I found it. Today, I noticed them top off my power steering fluid without even mentioning it as a charge. Small things like that really go a long way! I’ll be back when I need another oil change! We had tried so hard to do everything at home to correct it and we were so nervous and upset. Now at 8 months he is all done and honestly we loved the protection as he was starting to move around and he looked so cute in it that we are going to miss it!
