“We had the pleasure of visiting JM Bamboo yesterday and meeting Jim and Mickey, the owners. They were gracious enough to invite us to see their awesome underground home as well. Jim is amazing, both with his knowledge of bamboo, and his willingness to take the time to give us a complete tour through his bamboo groves. It was unbelievable! You really can't know the beauty of the mature groves until you stand in the middle of them, and are surrounded by them. We thought we knew exactly what kind of bamboo we had come to buy, but after walking around with Jim, and seeing so many mature specimens, we came home with 2 more varieties than we expected! It was so helpful to see, in person, what a mature grove of each variety looked like, as it is very different than just seeing the young plants or a picture. We were awed by the beauty of it all and took pictures, but they don't do Jim's groves justice either. Seeing it all was amazing. We would drive the hour and a half from our home to go back just to visit. We brought home 4 beautiful plants that Jim helped us load and wrap to protect them on our way home. I will never buy bamboo again from a nursery, but will make the drive back to JM Bamboo....it was just that good and well worth the drive. Thank you to Jim and Mickey!”

“We had breakfast here! Service was fantastic... Almost as good as the food we ate! We each had the country bowl. The eggs were cooked to perfection, the sausage gravy was peppery and decadent, the has brown's had crunch and were great. Pancakes barely even needed syrup. We were eating them with nothing on them because of how good they are! The chunky monkey waffle. We were concerned it would be too sweet and smothered. We were so wrong. It was the perfect ratio of banana and Nutella to waffle. We devoured it even though we were so full. We came at around 10:30 on Sunday, and while they were busy, we were seated immediately. Absolutely awesome breakfast. Don't know how we haven't come here before now. We'll absolutely be back and will be telling our friends and family.”

“First Wok is the best. Let’s start with the food. All orders are prepared fresh and made to order. The ingredients are better than they should be. The Food is also prepared quickly, faster than its quality would have you believe. It also tastes great, all of their chicken meals are great and their fried rice is very tasty. Best General Tso’s I’ve ever had. Their output is astounding: longest wait I ever had was 45 minutes and they apologized for it. That takes me to the next thing: the staff. The staff Are so friendly and have been for years. If you’re a regular they treat you well, better then how other places treat their regulars. There is no better place for Chinese food. If there was a Platonic Form of Chinese Food, 1st Wok is the place to get it.”

She not only cares for the children as her own, she will have staff do activities for better cooperation and teamwork which makes working with staff and the director awesome! “Fern Hill Golf Club was the perfect place for our wedding. The staff went above and beyond to make everyone happy. The food was delicious! So glad we did a morning wedding and reception. It went so beautifully. I loved how convenient and easy it was to have the ceremony and reception all at the same place. And they even have an indoor ceremony space in case it rains. They also have their own bartender and caterers. It was the best day of my life and I couldn't have picked a better location.”
