“My kids and I stopped in for some coffee after being at the museum. Tim Hortons is their favorite coffee stop. I have to admit they do have good coffee. I'm a fan of the flavored stuff, they willingly mixed their caramel and mocha together for me. It was a home run. We didn't get any pastries or other food because we had already eaten. But all those things sure looked tempting! I don't like bitter coffee, their beans have a rich, full-bodied taste. I've been to Starbucks a couple of times, but the price or the coffee itself, just doesn't do it for me. However, I could easily become a Tim Horton's fan. ☕☕☕☕☕☕”

“My first time here (I'm new to the area) so I'm not exactly certain what to expect. The woman at the register greeted me immediately & was pleasant. And my order came fairly quickly. The interior is pretty typical of a fast-food style restaurant: mostly fixed booths with some accessible tables & chairs. Loving a steak & cheese sandwich, I ordered the mushroom steak & cheese. I got it to go and made the 5 minute drive home. It was just warm when I got there so I had to pop it into the nuke-o-matic for about 40 seconds to get it to a decent temp. Leave it in the paper & the bread won't dry out. The amount of cheese I found quite light. Wasn't expecting tomato in there either but it worked. I'll be going back to try some other choices and will adjust if needed.”

“Omg 😳 this is the real deal! I see why they have the name. I went their today for the first time on 10/6/2022 and the customer service was so amazing. It smelled so good riding home couldn't wait to taste it. They recommended me to get the cheesecake so that's the first thing I tried, I couldn't stop eating it I ended up eating it before my meal🤦then I tried the catfish and it was fresh and very crispy and that very important to me not many people can cook dressing and I took one bite and almost swallowed my tongue🤣. This food is no joke, I think of my grandma when I eat it. They need more locations all over. I can't wait to tell my brother. I don't know why I waited so to try. My new favorite spot! “Update: Went again today and EVERYTHING I had was perfect. I ordered "The Tony" again. It was great. The onions were actually cooked well this time and not just thrown in the scramble raw. And there were avocados on it this time. 👍🏾 The Cinnamon Apple Raisin Toast and homemade jelly is STILL my absolute favorite (Delicious). I ordered the grits. They were very good. Great texture, great taste. Good visit, good meal. 5 Stars this time. 👍🏾”

“Decided to visit this place for open jam night. It was not very packed, but it was Sunday evening. What a great atmosphere,I can not lie. I had a blast listening to live music. It was a rotation of blues and classic rock. Staff was busy but on point and attentive. Didn't get to try any food, but I'd assume I would be classic bar style. All in all, it was a great time. “HUGE shout out to the team at the store about 145pm today. My muffler FELL OFF while in the drive through. This left me waiting in the parking lot for a tow and initially unable to grab my food. Once I was able to go in and grab my meal, the staff was just very kind and compassionate. They wished me luck and didn't hesitate with the key when I needed to use the restroom some time later. I just wanted to make sure they received the recognition because I TREMENDOUSLY appreciate the general kindness.”

“My elderly mother needed help. I called the police for a wellness check and Kristy answered then repeatedly called my mom and me to figure out the best route of action. She helped me calm down so that I could think straight. My mom is on a fixed income so she wouldn't let me call an ambulance to help her but after talking to the authorities(Kristy) she realized she needed an ambulance and allowed them to help her when I couldn't. I cant tell you how much I appreciate the Central Police dept. for their help and diligence. My mom is my best friend and knowing I have them on my team to help keep her safe and healthy is a blessing!”

“This place really surprised me with how good the food is. It is housed in a rather plain and drab white building which somewhat hides itself from all the other trendy eateries nearby. If my daughter hadn't wanted comfort food we probably would have never even researched the place on Google nor decided to try it. We started with the pork belly appetizer which is absolutely divine. Commencing with a very appealing presentation of a tower of slightly charred cubes glazed in an ambrosia type sauce, our visual and oral senses delighted in a delicious symphony of sights, tastes and smells. The pork belly was cooked to a perfect texture; moist, flavorful and slightly chewy. The slight bitter from the light external char blended superbly with the sweet and sour glaze and a delicate poignancy of chives. For our main dishes we tried the chicken fried steak and the chicken fried chicken. Large portions of both were promptly prepared and delivered to our table accompanied by reasonable servings of mashed potatoes and a quite delightful and flavored white gravy. The meat exteriors were perfectly crisp with a light and tasty breading. The meat interiors were tender and juicy. Both of us got full about halfway through our entrees, so we will be able to enjoy the remainders at home. Killen's offers an interesting cocktail and some desserts that we will definitely make a point of trying on our next visits, given how well the food was prepared this time.”
