“This was better than i expected. I just needed a night to sleep peacefully and got just that. The customer service from beginning to end was great. The room was nice in size, clean, and cozy. There was a full kitchen complete with dishware and utensils. There were a few mold spots in the tub. The breakfast was not what I expected though, I thought everything has been returned from Covid days. I didn't care for the egg souffle, the bagel was okay, and the tea options were limited. Most of the options were black tea. I did not visit the pool or the fitness area. The outside grounds were kept very well too. I would recommend this to my clients! As a licensed travel advisor, I enjoy visiting without letting them know I am checking it out to sale!”

“Hands down, the best place!! I never imagined that my mom could find peace while suffering from the difficulty of living with Dementia but she has at Walnut Creek. I had a referral to Walnut Creek from a friend last year but with Covid I held off on moving her. But I stayed in touch with the Owner. This was a Godsend to me to be able to ask questions and get some answers. We weren’t even a resident at this time. My Mom has now lived there for 7 months and is doing very well, even the transition went smoothly. This home is such a blessing to not only her but her family as well. Caregiving is a special gift to give another human being and the entire staff treats everyone with dignity and kindness. And they are knowledgeable about every aspect of the disease. The owner Lijo and the entire team at Walnut have huge hearts of compassion! I have entrusted them with my mom's life and have never been disappointed. “They usually have something I'm looking for on sale or clearance. When the other pharmacy across the street is out of stock of the meds I need, I come here and they can fill it without any problems. They are also a lot faster than the competition across the street. Pricing seems ok considering it isn't a grocery store. You will pay more for snacks and treats, etc than you would at a regular grocery store but that is to be expected, or at least it should be. The store itself is organized and clean. Everything is usually lined up and appealing to the eye. I could spend at least an hour browsing around. They also have the photo developing and the kiosk. The photos I had printed were good. They were of the same quality that you would get from any other place that allows you to submit photos and pick them up later.”
