“Had quite a bit of work done to my 1941 Ford - 12 volt conversion, new radiator & water pumps, electronic ignition, and brakes. All done with professionalism and they kept me up-to-date with progress the entire time. I was also consulted each time there was a decision needed or to get my preference on something. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing any type of work done on a classic or muscle car. Overall, this is a great place!”

“One of the finest hotels of the time, the Grand Pacific House, was constructed in 1881 for New Baltimore's Frederick C. Losh. It is the last remaining hotel of the era. The limestone for it's deep foundation was shipped to New Baltimore from Kelly's island in Lake Erie, near Sandusky, Ohio. Local bricklayers constructed the two-story building on Washington Street. The "modern" hotel featured a lobby, dining room, and Saloon on the first floor, with eight bedrooms on the second floor. Around 1910, when business began to decline, the Grand Pacific House became a boarding house and later, a private residence. During the 1920's the saloon was transformed into a soda fountain and candy store. In 1927, it was converted into a hardware store by Ed Maliskey, who ran the store until his passing in 1972. The New Baltimore Historical Society purchased the building in 1986 thanks to many fundraising efforts and generous donations. Ten years later, the Grand Pacific House received it's Michigan State Historic marker. The restoration process continues as the Grand Pacific House lives on.”

“Traveling from Canada, our car obsessed son has been gearing up for a visit to this place. Our visit here did not disappoint either. We came the first weekend in December, and it was tremendous. They had a very good organist playing Christmas carols on their incredible organ. The cars were so cool. Very unique kinds here too. Some that I've never seen or heard of. Truly an amazing collection. The gentlemen that volunteer here are so knowledgeable and helpful too. Make sure when you visit to leave a donation as it's a free museum. We'll definitely be back sometime to visit. 5/5. Follow me for more reviews, tips or photos. ✌🏻”

“Our wedding spot and one of our favorite places to visit. I take the kids to explore trails, we have lunch in the gazebo and we search for frogs under the bridge. They keep the park clean and it's never busy. Aside from the memories and outdoor adventures, this is a wonderful spot for family photos. A hidden gem, for sure!”

“This is a great place, full of great people, great exhibits, and did I mention great people? We went on a tour with Steve, and he was amazing! He shared his experiences jumping out of some of the planes. My son and I had such a great time. I highly recommend it. There is so much history here, I don't want to spoil it, so just go check it out, you won't be sorry.”

“An must have experience. What a cool place in our neighborhood. So much real life animals that one would never get to see so close in real life. Can't touch anything which is hard for younger children because the animals are so close.”

“This Museum is a great gem in southeastern Michigan. It tells the great story of the Arsenal of Democracy in Detroit. Chris shows us the best of the Wars and you wouldn't be disappointed. As a member, you will see the many guest speakers who come to this great museum. They even have a Rosie the Riveter display. Please visit them.”
