The inside is filled with creatures to look at, art to make, books to read, activities for kids. Outside gives you sitting areas to enjoy the nature around you. Two different trail options and gorgeous scenery. The staff is also great, very welcoming and informational. We will definitely be back soon. Adding it to our list of favorite nature centers!”

“Excellent hill, and I love the steps up the sides. Watch out for a ramp someone dug out toward the middle of the steep hill. You can't see it very well from the top. Someone went off it and hit their head and was bleeding. Paramedics had to be called. But that isn't the sledding hills fault so 5 stars. And please do not build ramps/jumps.”

“I absolutely loved this little park. We went like a day after the rains and a couple puddles were large and you had to walk around them but in general this is a great scenic walking part that follows a creek, and its very relaxing with the sound of the creek water flowing in the background.”

“I took my son here for his 15th birthday present today. We moved here from Atlanta last year, and we rented gear for the first year to make sure my son liked snowboarding. We had no idea what to buy. Kevin spent a couple of hours with us explaining everything, asking my son questions and ultimately working with us on our budget, what my son liked and what fit him best. GREAT experience! Highly recommend! They’re very knowledgeable on product and fit not to mention a super cool “Cali feel” store.”

“Very nice baseball diamonds. There are pit toilets and access to the Clinton River Trail. Sometimes the parking lot is full so you have to park on the other side of Clinton River Rd at the high school.”

“Everyone in the office treated me with respect. Each person listened to what my questions were and answered them completely. The reception staff, nursing staff and physician made me feel comfortable and allowed me to relate, in full, what my problem was. A procedure for addressing my problem, was fully explained to me. All my questions were fully answered. I would recommend this practice to other people with the same problems I have”

“The park and 1 mile packed gravel trail is clean and typically quiet. The playground is shaded and has 2 baby swings and I think 4 kid swings. Some of the playground equipment has been broken for a while (missing slide or something, some unsteady little hopper things), but is still quite useable with a nice padded ground. A couple soccer fields, two or three softball/baseball diamonds. It would be nice if there was a gazebo for some shade or for parties.”

“Great park! Never crowded! Brand new basketball Rims n blacktop, along with a brand new beach-type volleyball court! Only drawback is the fact that the bathrooms and drinking fountains are out of order. Nice little playground for the kids. Also a nice trail running around the woodlands of the park. Good probably for dog walks or just fitness for yourself! I visit this park on a regular basis and like I said never crowded!”

“Went in the fall so I didn't experience the bugs I've heard about. Really great beginners course. Straight fairways on the front nine for the most part. A couple rhbh bombers that you can flex into. A lot of foot traffic by non thrower as it is a multi faceted city park so keep that in mind on your waiting periods. Recommend.”

“Great for getting your dog done exercise and playing fetch when the park is empty if your dog is well trained off leash. Although I do not recommend that because it is against city ordinance and the parks rules. So be sure if you do let your dog off leash. Know that is your choice and your choice alone, and do the appropriate steps to ensure it is safe. No to little nearby distractions, like other dogs, people or the road. If you go far enough back and your dog is well trained they won't even know the difference between a fenced in park and this park if you're keeping an eye on your pet and actually playing and communicating.”

“A true refuge from the modern world. It is the best little slice of paradise I have found in 36 years of searching. Be careful walking down the steps on the nature trail after it rains. Hold the railing. I slipped and almost went down. The archery range goes from 7 to 50 yards. A year pass is only 40 dollars, and it may be best money I have ever spent. They have a trap range as well, the range master runs a tight operation. Tldr: that place is awesome. I recommend it highly.”

“I recently went here for the first time and the experience was great. It's a perfect place for beginners to get comfortable with the ramps and drop ins. The next time a come here, I will definitely bring my friends and some snacks and just hang out there for the afternoon. The only slight note is that it is directly in the sun and it's a little bit uncomfortable, but as long as you have water with you, it shouldn't be a problem. Overall, it's a really good place to hang out!”
