“The park facility is relatively new and quite impressive. There is a very well done 25 minute movie on the earlier events and battles at River Raisin. There are several displays at the Visitor center, huge diorama of Frenchtown , and a gift shop. There are paths outside to tour the battlefield with historical markers. Overall gained a great understanding and appreciation of what happened here and overall northwest frontier. Need to mention that the ranger at the Visitors Center - Tony - was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable.”

Great portions, food cooked to my order perfectly (I'm picky) and was very flavorful. I picked up our Christmas dinner and it didn't dissapoint. “Airport high school is really a great school, they offer so many amazing classes and opportunities for their students from foreign languages to welding to offering graduating with an associates degree and the list goes on and on but the icing on the cake is Mr. Furtney he is absolutely incredible! He really cares about the kids. He takes his time to listen to every kid and their concerns. He takes the safety and the wellbeing of the children very serious. He's tough when he needs to be but at the same time so understanding and caring. We need more educators like him. This year is my oldest daughter's last year. I really hope he's still there when my other daughter reaches high school.”
