Motor City Float

I have a herniated disk in my back and have terrible pain. Floating allows me to relax and take off all stress from my back. I'm weightless in the water and my back can decompress. Very relaxing for my anxious mind as well. I thought I would be afraid of the chamber or claustrophobic. Not the case at all. My first float I kept the light on did a guided meditation. Second float I went dark and just music. Both were highly enjoyable.
You shower (in room) before and after floating with the shampoo and body wash they provide. They give you wax ear plugs to keep the water out and a head halo roll rest your head on while floating. Music can be pumped in or you can connect your own .

Upon a friends recommendation and a Groupon find I tried out the floating experience for myself. It was amazing!!! My only suggestion would be to bring your own shampoo and conditioner because the ones provided made my hair feel really dry and I didn’t care for the smell. Overall I’d definitely go again. The staff is super friendly.
