“Amazing. Wow. I love this! Those were real reactions. First of all the place is surprisingly quaint and welcoming. It's like being transported to another time and place. The staff is super friendly... We encountered 4 different people including a bright young man I can only assume is the owners son who was not only pleasant and knowledgeable with us but also helped a team member you could tell was new. But the food.. You're here for the food. Bacon jam burger... Great. Collard greens (which aren't always available)... Great. Brisket sandwich... Great! Oh those sandwiches.. Bread is made in house. That orange cream soda.. Made in house. I can't say enough except for saying it is a must visit and a place I will now make the 30 minute drive to frequent.”

“On a crisp fall day, not even total knee replacement one week ago could keep me from going to Goodison cider mill just north of Rochester hills on Orion road. The cold cider was absolutely delicious and the frosted blueberry donuts were an unexpected bonus. Can't wait to return and try the frosted cherry donuts.”
