“Village Green is a great area to live in. It’s safe and so neighborly! I have also gotten to know Downtown Rochester so much better - there’s so much to do in the area. The people in the Leasing Office are also so sweet and helpful every time I go in there. I had a few issues with missing packages and they were able to send me in the right direction. Definitely a great place to live for any ages.”

“Amazing. Wow. I love this! Those were real reactions. First of all the place is surprisingly quaint and welcoming. It's like being transported to another time and place. The staff is super friendly... We encountered 4 different people including a bright young man I can only assume is the owners son who was not only pleasant and knowledgeable with us but also helped a team member you could tell was new. But the food.. You're here for the food. Bacon jam burger... Great. Collard greens (which aren't always available)... Great. Brisket sandwich... Great! Oh those sandwiches.. Bread is made in house. That orange cream soda.. Made in house. I can't say enough except for saying it is a must visit and a place I will now make the 30 minute drive to frequent.”

In addition, Sheila and Tom are very involved in the day-to-day care of their residents. They both work at the home with residents weekly, supporting each resident’s plan of care. Sheila and Tom make sure residents are receiving proper medications and even take on a more holistic approach that more is not always better. Proper nutrition for each resident is highly supported, all meals are homemade, and each resident’s needs are taken into consideration. The home is always clean and well maintained.
