“The folks at Select Flooring are absolutely FANTASTIC! My wife and I just had them replace floors in our current home, knowing that it would be flawless because they did the same thing in our last Saline home. Vince and Tim are guys who have decades of experience in this industry, and the craftsmanship you're left with at the end of the project demonstrates just how good they are at their jobs. Chris runs the office and the logistics and took amazing care of the entire experience from planning, costing, to picking out the right complement of materials that would suite our needs (both by room usage and overall look and feel). I'm including a few photos of the project they just completed so you can get a sense of what we had them do, and just how intricate they get with the overall implementation. Check out the edge nose on the staircase - absolutely fantastic outcome that looks seamless with the rest of the floor right there. Also take a peek at the close up shot of the shoe molding in the office. Vince actually took the time to carve out a notch (which doesn't really do justice to what he did...) for the cable modem line coming up through the floor. Who does that??? The answer is Select Flooring! No detail was too small to review; no question from myself or my wife went unanswered.... There are very good reasons why we came back to them a second time to entrust our home's floors to them - you won't be sorry if you do the same. If we eventually move out of this place and need something done at another house, there will only be one call we make to make that happen ;)”

“We had an AMAZING experience with JCJ Contracting who was referred to us by a neighbor/friend. The crew; Jeremy, Nick, Jay, Rusty and Nikolia were very professional, quality of work was stunning and the extra detail/workmanship they put into their work was extraordinary and it showed! We had concerns with the new skirting around the deck and being able to have access to our sump pump. The crew went beyond and created an “access door” within the skirting of the deck! The door was amazing, but the crew took it upon themselves and added “built-in” handles! Little details like this blew our minds. The crew showed up on time every day and they hustled until the end of their shift. Extra kudos for Nick who came back over on a Saturday morning to finish a hour worth of work. I told him no need to on his day off/weekend and just to come back Monday. He knew how anxious I was to have our deck finish and he made a point to come Saturday morning to finish. I don’t know any worker/contractor that would go that extra mile to finish a project for a client on a weekend. If I can give this crew 10 stars I would. I would highly recommend this company/crew and looking forwarding to working with them again on future projects.”

“I can’t say enough about Midwest Construction. We are so happy with the work they have done at our bilevel home. The design solved a water issue we had. The workers were amazingly skillful, professional and friendly. In total we had a new driveway designed to divert water into a drywell which was 5 ft deep, a new retaining wall and flower beds along the new drive. The stairs gets compliments by anyone who walks up them. The sidewalk was elevated to avoid a step up into the house. All these things were designed to divert water away from the house which is Amazing and beautiful. We were introduced to Brandon Fischer, Mettlework Designs to do a railing on the stairs and porch which we love. Thank you Sam Issa for being on site often, making sure things were running smoothly and always checking to see if we had questions. You sent a very skillful crew to our house. We very much appreciate the work they did. I would recommend Midwest Construction without a doubt based on the design and skill of the workers that completed our job.”

“The store itself is a bit crowded. Not with people, but with things LOL there are some places you cannot fit a cart through. The bathrooms were clean. The staff is really sweet, it is definitely "the place with the helpful hardware folks". They have A LOT of cool random things in the front too. Little nicknacks and such, but they're all really cool!”

“Fantastic service and high-quality lumber! Chelsea Lumber, particularly Doug Holzer were instrumental in helping me, a relatively inexperienced DYI-er build my dream deck and Pergola! I had a rough design but Doug helped me choose the right sizes and materials to make it happen. This review is a little overdue as this project happened in Summer 2020 but even during the pandemic, the staff were courteous, professional and honest. Even when I had the occasional board that was damaged or warped or something, they had no problems exchanging said pieces, no questions asked. At the end of the project, I had leftover materials that had sat in my driveway for 3 months and Chelsea lumber still gave me a full return for every extra single board and fastener. I would highly recommend this local supplier for all your home improvement projects over the big-box stores. The level of service was night-and-day. Thanks again Doug for helping me build the coolest deck in my neighborhood!!”
