“Gar is the best and the most wholesome person you will ever meet. My grandson lost his rubix cube down the garbage disposal and Gar was able to save the day! He showed up on time and scheduling was a breeze. However, he sends his bill through the snail mail which can take awhile. I wish he had Venmo or another form of electronic payment.”

“This is a great place to just take a break from it all. There are lots of hiking paths and places to just sit and chill. No matter what season you visit, you are bound to find something new that takes your breath away. There are seven different trails ranging from 0.8 miles (1.3 km) up to 5.3 miles (8.5 km) with views of Mill Lake, Spring Lake, and Crooked Lake.”

“My son has attended Mudpies and Lullabies since he was about 6 months old, he is now almost 5 years old. He, my husband, and I love this daycare! All staff are amazingly loving individuals. They care for my little guy like he is their own. I’m glad my son had a chance to attend Mudpies but I’m sad that he will be moving to a big kid school next year and we won’t be seeing the Mudpies family any more! However, our loss is another’s gain to become part of the Mudpies group of awesome kiddos!”

“My wife and I hosted our wedding here in July of 2023 and it was an absolutely wonderful day. The venue: Our ceremony was outside beside the barn, and it provided a really lovely setting. It was a hot day, but the trees provided enough shade that our guests were a comfortable temperature. The barn has a phenomenal bridal suite that the bride and her party were able to use to get ready, and we stored our personal belongings in there during the reception. The grounds are very well kept, and provided a great setting for bride + groom photos. The barn is brand new, and was a great space for dancing. We held dinner in the tent attached to the barn, and it was a great space that provided the quaint outdoors setting we were looking for. The patio area behind the barn has a firepit and space for yard games, both of which were a hit with the guests. Robin hills also offers a conservatory for a ceremony area in case of rain--this was really pretty, but fortunately we did not need to use it. The staff: All of the staff were so kind during the planning phase, as well as on our wedding day. We worked closely with Adriana, Adam, and Rachel and had a great experience with them. A number of our guests even commented about how kind they were. Overall, we loved Robin Hills and were thrilled with the day.”

“Chelsea Plumbing is the absolute best. For decades we used them for our construction firm, and since closing it they have been instrumental in every home project we have come across. Robert is a superior master plumber and Nick couldn’t be more helpful as owner or estimator. They are the only plumbers we trust and have thrown just about every plumbing emergency possible their way over the years! Thanks a million for all you do!”

“Marlene and her husband John create wonderful pieces of folk art in a country setting that resonates of an earlier Amercian time. Such a joy to visit their home and studio. Takes me back in time. Marlene's flagship bird carvings are amazingly accurate depictions of real life birds. In recent years, she has expanded her carving offerings to include customizable hanging wall pieces that allow you to change your focal point for any holiday or celebratory event. She continues to add new carving subjects so that you are always able to add to your collection. Enjoy!”

“My wife and I walk this trail everyday for a week. It is a pleasant walk and not to long or difficult to complete. They need to get someone to cut back some fallen trees, but it was early in the season and they didn't have time yet. The park is usually really good about clearing paths. I highly recommend getting out and exploring this location. It's fun for the whole family.”

“This Place is Excellent and accommodating to suite all your dog training and bird hunting needs in southern Michigan. Easy to get to off the I-94 corridor. Bill is great to work with and knows how to make the training fun for you and your dog! I have been coming here for just over a year now and he really knows his stuff. I would recommend this to anyone who is just getting started or even to long time bird hunters! Happy Hunting!”

“Fusilier Farms is amazing. Their produce is grown within 20 miles of the farm, and the family has been farming for at least 3 generations. They know what they are doing! The produce is fresh and SO much more flavorful than big-store produce. They also have landscaping plants, flowering plants, trees, bushes, and people who really care to talk with you about what's best for your garden and yard.”

“Nice trail. Kinda muddy in the spring. Plenty of parking. Runs along Letts Creek for a bit with a great view of Goose Lake. The sign says they do not allow dogs. There are a lot of hunting blinds scattered about the preserve so be prepared for that during hunting season.”

“Unique park, we love to picnic here in the fall. Benches overlooking the water and play equipment is relatively new and safe. The only drawback is the bathroom and parking are across a low traffic road from the park and it is a small narrow waterfront park, but it's nice too.”

“I want to thank Faith Baptist Church for providing my little kids, husband and I with a/c shelter on a hot, 100 degrees day, when our car had a flat tire in the middle of MI. While waiting for a tow and where no Uber was willing to pick us up. Praise God for your love and God bless you all abundantly!”
