Waterloo-Discovery Center Trail

Address: 17030 Bush Rd, Chelsea, MI 48118, USA

Park

“This is a great place to just take a break from it all. There are lots of hiking paths and places to just sit and chill. No matter what season you visit, you are bound to find something new that takes your breath away. There are seven different trails ranging from 0.8 miles (1.3 km) up to 5.3 miles (8.5 km) with views of Mill Lake, Spring Lake, and Crooked Lake.”

Headquarter's Trailhead

Address: Waterloo-Pinckney Trail, Chelsea, MI 48118, USA

Park

“My wife and I walk this trail everyday for a week. It is a pleasant walk and not to long or difficult to complete. They need to get someone to cut back some fallen trees, but it was early in the season and they didn't have time yet. The park is usually really good about clearing paths. I highly recommend getting out and exploring this location. It's fun for the whole family.”

Colonial Farms Field Dog Training

Address: 1850 Sylvan Rd, Chelsea, MI 48118, USA

Park

“This Place is Excellent and accommodating to suite all your dog training and bird hunting needs in southern Michigan. Easy to get to off the I-94 corridor. Bill is great to work with and knows how to make the training fun for you and your dog! I have been coming here for just over a year now and he really knows his stuff. I would recommend this to anyone who is just getting started or even to long time bird hunters! Happy Hunting!”

Koenn Nature Preserve

Address: 2200 Hayes Rd, Chelsea, MI 48118, USA

Park

“Nice trail. Kinda muddy in the spring. Plenty of parking. Runs along Letts Creek for a bit with a great view of Goose Lake. The sign says they do not allow dogs. There are a lot of hunting blinds scattered about the preserve so be prepared for that during hunting season.”

Cavanaugh Lake County Park

Address: 33 Cavanaugh Lake Rd, Chelsea, MI 48118, USA

Park

“Unique park, we love to picnic here in the fall. Benches overlooking the water and play equipment is relatively new and safe. The only drawback is the bathroom and parking are across a low traffic road from the park and it is a small narrow waterfront park, but it's nice too.”
