Wiard's Orchard is a precious memory of our child-raising years when we brought our three children each December to Wiards to cut your best Christmas tree. We loved hiding among the trees from our beloved Golden Retriever, Baron, and ending those Gold Medal Memories warming inside enjoying warm donuts and cider. Almost a half century later, we think of the cost back then as investments in precious, priceless memories. Thank you, Wiard's Orchards. Bob and Elaine Allison, Shawnee, Okla..
Solid 4.0 stars.
Went here recently with the family, staff was friendly. Glad to see the new addition of mega triple slide. They offer a lot of free activities for the entrance fee, kids seem to enjoy.
Currently weekday it is $17.50 per person, weekend $23.50 per person, Season pass $42 a person.
Pros: Quite a few cool things to do including seeing lamas, and you can even do karaoke at the karaoke station, if you’re so inclined. It’s a fun outing for the kids. Try to go there often while we have a good weather.
Timetable: I think opens in September till October 31. If you live close enough and you think you’ll come at least twice then the season pass makes the most sense otherwise one time use the day pass will be enough.
My recommendation: I think actually the price is great for the times we live in and what they offers, would be really cool if they offered a family membership for $100 in additional to the other offerings but would completely understand if they couldn’t based on their financial logistics.
Conclusion: Quite like the farm, highly recommend, will be back next year. Cheers.
We got the season passes, and it was well worth it!!! We have enjoyed every visit!
We love all of the fun things there are to do there!
Our favorites are the playscapes, Karaoke, and the mountain slides.
We always get donuts and cider on our way out.
It does get very busy on the weekends but it seems to be run very well and does not take away from the fun experience!
First time we went to Wiard's was for my daughter's 5th birthday. We're new to Michigan and have had fun going to different "Cider Mills"as a family. This orchard was the best family experience by far. The birthday party had us in a barn with 3 picnic tables and plenty of space. The cost included/allowed us to pay for our guests. We received donuts and apple cider and were allowed to bring in cake and beverages for the party.
The kids had a BLAST. There was a blue ox bounce house, a corn bin for the kids to play in (like a sandbox but dried corn), inflated slides, playgrounds, petting zoo and a corn maze. We didn't do the fire truck ride, or the hay ride but they were always running and looked pretty fun. The party did include a free pumpkin for our daughter from the pumpkin patch so we wandered the acre or so wide pumpkin patch and found a great pumpkin. I was impressed at the quality of pumpkins, but I haven't been to a patch in a few years and those were in Colorado.
Overall it was a great time. Staff were friendly, courteous and patient with the kids. 10/10 would recommend for families with kids.
