“My mother's home was built in the 30's. The basement was in a very bad condition. I had been ghosted by several contractors. Alpha Design+Built was recommended by BRAG (Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Ann Arbor). I reached out to the company and they accepted the job. The owner and contractors was very nice and treated me like I was a family member. They kept in touch with me during the whole process. The owner worked with me and stayed within the budget. The basement looks amazing. I highly recommend this company for any of your remodeling needs.”

“Such a nice guy! Greeted us all when we came in. Let my sister try the chicken before she bought it. Told me if I don't like the pulled pork sandwich that I could get my money back. It was good though, he toasted the bread and warmed up the sandwich! Delicious! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would 😄”

“Between Beck, Ron, Jamie, and their show room, this place is the best. I have had 4 friends from Ann Arbor, and surrounding areas, who have had stoves installed or sold by them, recommend this ‘company’ to me and I can’t say enough. The business doesn’t feel like one, it feels like you are inviting them into your home, which you are, and they treat it and you, as such. The most respect, knowledge, and kindness. I’ve learned things about wood burning stoves that I don’t want to know, but I now do and am glad to have learned, thanks to the three mentioned above. My wife was totally comfortable having Ron over to give us a quote, and I know that can be hard sometimes with weird contractors these days. Ron isn’t that. He’s an honest, friendly, and hard working guy that has a great staff and I cannot respect that enough. Their show room is amazing, the options available are simply explained, there is no sales pitch, and the products sell themselves. Honestly, I would love to have these guys over for dinner once our stove is installed. I appreciate this company and they will have my business for a lifetime, as well as anyone who asked me for a stove place!”

“I sent Dave my Rollei 35 LED and he repaired it spectacularly. Cleaned and lube and made many other repairs that were necessary. Took a bit less than a month. Pricing is excellent and don’t believe all the bad reviews. There’s always two sides to every story. Would definitely use him again.”

“I needed to replace a rug pad that had worn out under our wool entry rug. Most big box stores carry an inferior, thin, sticky pad intended more for throw rugs. Hagopian had multiple varieties of what I was searching for and educated me what was best for my use. I was able to take home a custom cut pad the same day. It has the perfect amount of cushion and rug grip so the rug does not creep. Very pleased!”

“I had a great experience getting instrument work done here on my french bow and modern Neapolitan violin. The big-box violin store in town wanted two weeks to rehair my bow; I came to the Harris shop and was offered same-day service. The quality of the rehair was very good, and done for a very reasonable price. Duncan also replaced my worn-out grip with a strong but supple piece of buffalo hide. He also noticed a small ivory chip missing on the beak of the bow, and glued an appropriately sized patch in its place. Since I was getting the bow work done I also decided to get an open seam on my violin glued together, which Duncan had no problems doing an excellent job with. Together with the bow rehair, my instrument is sounding great again! It's clear that Duncan loves the craft and the tradition of instrument making. He'll be glad to show you plates in his reference books that highlight the specifications of your antique instrument maker. Overall his shop is a great addition to the downtown Ann Arbor offerings - accessible, reliable, and unpretentious. I highly recommend his work for standard instrument maintenance.”

“Our family chose Complete Production Systems to provide two PA systems for a wedding in Jackson, MIchigan recently. I was assigned to pickup, set up and return the equipment. The experience was great. I didn't tell the company at the time that I spent 40+ years in the radio and TV industry...and I know good gear when I see it. Everything they provided to us was top notch and worked perfectly. On top of that they took the time to show me all of the cables and equipment to make sure I knew everything needed for easy set up. When you're putting on your own wedding or any event where you are responsible for the PA system, it's nice to know you can count on the equipment working without any problems. Our wedding and other events during the weekend were without any drama or technical problems. I would highly recommend them .”

They followed up and made sure all my needs were met. Highly recommend them! Sent from my iPad”

“Both of my kids have been going to School of Rock for over a year and absolutely love it! There has never been a day when they don't want to go. The instructors do a great job making it fun yet educational and my kids love being able to choose the songs they want to learn. I've recommended School of Rock to close friends (that have also loved it) and I will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for a great music school.”

“We just completed a big renovation with Acheson Builders and we're extremely happy with their work. We expanded a dormer (through a slate roof) and reconfigured/renovated two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It took 5/6 months to reach full completion. We lived here the whole time and everyone was wonderful to work with and be around for that length of time. Jim Acheson does a wonderful job of paying attention to detail and made the renovated section of the home look seamless. Our home was built in 1926 so staying true to the time period was very important to us. We would highly recommend Acheson Builders and will be doing more projects with them as well.”

“It wasn't a bad experience. The store wasn't really stocked. The whole store felt kinda light if I'm being honest. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Still recommend coming here if you need something nearby. Newer Remodeled bathrooms in the back of the store. While the ones in the front go under a remodel also.”
