She is always excited when I drop her off and ready to start her day. My daughter still goes there even during the Pandemic, and the daycare follows all the rules and guidelines by the CDC. I appreciate the staff so much for sending a full report and a picture emailed to me after picking up my daughter. “This is the best preK/daycare in the area. And we are not exaggerating when we say that. We moved into MI in cold February this year and started our luck with another franchise preK with our 5 years old daughter and that was an absolute need for a in-person working parents like us. That one disappointed us so badly that we were clueless about what to do and luckily one day one of my colleague suggested May's Bilingual and we stopped by there to give it a try -immediately we liked the environment and Ms DeLosh's warm personality. She was so welcoming and explained their routine and curriculum so elaborately. Since March until this August our daughter started K, she never had a single day that she did not jump in joy before starting her day in there. The whole environment has such familiar touch ! All the teachers are really knowledgeable, and their one to one interaction is commendable. They go for field trips almost every day in the summer and kids do enjoy that a lot. The whole curriculum is extremely well related to teaching several skills that kids could relate and learn a lot. They participated in international festival and that was such broad and diverse exposure for our daughter. Everyday being in the May's Bilingual she learned something new. Ms DeLosh is extremely polite and accommodating too. Her communication skill is outstanding. Our daughter enjoyed a vast range of diversity in the school and learned a different language other than English. All the teachers are really dedicated to make this school an excel. The school is really strict about maintaining all kinds of child and environment safety and personal and overall hygiene as well. Not a single day we got any chance to complain about any such thing. Even now we take her to the school if her K is off for a day. She enjoys going back there. We as parents Strongly recommend May's bilingual, and nothing else. We wish all good luck to them and we know for sure it will keep climbing high up.”

“I believe a building is only a part of what 'school' is...it is the teachers, the parent involvement, the student's attitude and inherent abilities (and disabilities), the chemistry of the particular classroom the child is placed into by fate, and all the surrounding factors like home life, love life, work, personal interests, sports, clubs and other extra curricular involvement that makes up an 'educational experience.' School is what you make of it. It always has been, and always will be. A teacher is there to provide guidance to the students' willingness to learn. An excellent school for one student can be a nightmare for the next... My children excelled in Ypsi Public Schools their first 6 years and they excelled in Lincoln schools their last 6... My daughter walked away with enough scholarships through Lincoln to pay for almost her entire first year of college, and the scholarships are still coming in in August! If you pursue excellence you will find it. Period. Lincoln did my children well, counseling took so much time with my daughter, but it is because she pursued their guidance...you can drag a horse to water, but you can't make them drink! In turn my children have become a part of the Splitter legacy, and Im proud of the values Lincoln has instilled in my children and the values they brought to the table themselves. It's just too bad that silly reviews written by disgruntled parents or students (who probably weren't doing their part to do their best or cooperate mind you) could make or break a decision of a perspective family to a new district. School is what it is: It is your job to embrace it!”

“We believe that children are not drones and need an opportunity to learn and experience the world with their own hands and not every item needs to be constrained to one form, believe that a child needs to have the freedom to smell the flowers, grow and learn with their friends, live life to the fullest every minute of every day, and most of all be HAPPY! Our son started at NorthStar Montessori when he was 18 months old, and now he will be going into kindergarten. I thought it only fitting to leave an outstanding review as a small THANK YOU to all the wonderful teachers at NorthStar! I whole heartedly recommend this school. “Everyone there is absolutely amazing! They have a great staff that truly care about the kids. I have 2 kids that go there full time, and a school ager who is starting after school and they watch him on school days off. All of their teachers are fantastic. I love getting pictures of them throughout the day too! The director is hands down the easiest person to talk to where it just feels like you are talking to another mom who gets it. My kids always come home happy and CLEAN! (Which was a big problem at one of our previous daycares) Overall, they take care of my kids, and I know they treat them right, which is all that matters to me! 🥰”

“This is the real deal burger stand! I can only assume they make these patties because the meat is delicious and has the perfect seasoning! Patties are also large! So I would say go with the single if you usually get a double! Will definitely stop by again when I'm in the area. Chili was also flavorful on my chili cheese fries! Too much for me though, but good for sharing!”
