My sister and I grew up in this wonderful church, which my family among others literally helped build. It was and is a church of our Hungarian heritage and tradition, Brotherly love and the love for what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross.
“For what I received I passed on to you as a first importance: That Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, and he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 Christ did for us when we could not do for ourselves.
Having moved from Detroit Michigan to Allan Park, in the early 60’s, the legacy of the pastors that have led this church has been Divinely appointed and fulfilled.
From Reverend Tibor Toth, to Bishop Abraham, and now to my good friend and brother in Christ Reverend Ferenc Varga. Thank you and Mrs Varga for your unwavering devotion and love of the people whom you have cared for and serve.
I and our family have been blessed by God thru this church and all who were and are members of The Hungarian reformed church of America.
