I would like to thank the officer who helped me with my flat tire this evening. He couldn't have been kinder to an old lady with a flat tire. Thanks, officer Selesky!

I never had a positive experience with police in the past until interacting with Canton PD. We've called a handful of times for various reasons (anything from noise complaints to property damage to a woman staggering around in the middle of the road), they've always showed up quickly and thoroughly answered all my questions(+took reports when necessary). In Westland or Dearborn heights they always used to say "we're sending someone right away" but no one ever showed up. Definitely confused by the negative reviews because even when I thought I was calling the police for something stupid and apologized to them in person - they reassured me not to be afraid to call for anything. I think I'm finally starting to trust police

Peace Officers, Mental Counselor, Pet Control. Trash Pick up, Safety Patrol, Problem Solver, Protector, Always Called FIRST.
They do it all with class and dedication. Never rude, never. I owe one a hug.
I even think he’s adorable, yes I said that. Well dressed, clean car. No I didn’t get a free one way ride.
I pay attention, shoes were clean as well. Posture was perfect, no hard stance. No holding weapons and never any intimidation. They are awesome from top down.
