“Abdu Market has been my and the communities go to place for all sorts of Indo-Paki and Middle Eastern items and Halal meat since years. Yesterday I was in the store and saw a lady broke into an argument with the staff, she had her father also connected over the call and they were very rude with the owner and staff of Abdu. They had come to return old purchased packs of Pita breads which were full of molds and fungus. One of the pack was used. They insisted that the store sold them bad product. The past days had scorching heat and if you don't store the products properly or consume in time any product would have gone bad, let alone the breads whose shelf life is max 2-3 days. And the lady brought 4-5 days old bread back for refund. The owner being kind as he always is purchased her more breads from his own pocket. It's utter exploitation and shame. It's such an unacceptable behavior to do. I couldn't stop myself sharing this story because we encounter such people now and then and it's saddening to see it. It's important to raise voices against such people who take pleasure in exploiting others.”
