(March 16, 2022, 8:36 pm)Room 212 was very clean and nicely done. It had a gas fireplace on a timer and a large TV. A refrigerator and microwave were also provided. The management at the desk were very friendly, but cautious about the treatment of their rooms i.e. No Smoking!!! No Mess!!! and tried to collect a $20 deposit in case of violations. Someone was 'washing' the outside of the bath window while my wife was showing I believe it was a ruse to smell for smoke. These actions show that the management is very concerned about the condition of their rooms. This a good thing but with limits, don't wash windows while the guests are in the room.
Cons were no drink cups in the bath.
Possible improvement would be a small throw rug on each side of the bed for cleaning your feet after those barefooted trips across the hard surface flooring.
(February 9, 2022, 5:38 pm)I didn't know there was a $50 cash deposit upon check in. Despite that, this is a very nice little get- away. I had a personal problem that complicated my check in but the owner was very understanding and accommodating. Even asked if I was alright because I was still a little emotional upon arrival.
My room was very nice. Set up very well. Very welcoming and comfortable. The fireplace is a very nice touch. I only wish they had left the heat, at least, on low because it was a little chilly when I first went in but it warmed up quite nicely. The whirlpool/ jacuzzi was great. I felt like I was in there all night. I was so relaxed by the time I got out I was ready for a good night's sleep. I went outside to smoke and discovered it was still daylight. Lol. I suppose I was in there for about an hour and a half. What a great way to spend the evening. I would definitely recommend this for a traveler or a "stay-cation". This was my "stay-cation" and it was well worth it. I really needed this. I know some people have had a bad experience but... you can't please everyone. Come see for yourself.
