Bekker Jerome DO

I have been seeing Dr. Bekker for almost 30 years. I have always loved him and think he is an amazing Doctor. Kristen is great and always friendly. I MISS Emily she was amazing! The current medical assistants in the office are not very helpful, or friendly. They seem knowledable enough though just maybe lacking some bed side manor, thankfully Dr. Bekker makes up for it!

After seeing many doctors for an ongoing thyroid condition, I finally went to DrBekker, who has been my husbands doctor for years.

My first visit he sat with me and read through my whole test result history. He referred me immediately to a specialist and said if I didn’t like her- he would send me to another until I was happy and had someone proactive and dedicated to getting me better.

Also I was relieved he was willing to do some prescription refills over the phone. Saves so much time vs docs who force an office call appt.

So far, Dr Bekker is a blessing in my life!

Wow I am really shocked and disappointed by a couple reviewers because I think Dr. Bekker is very knowledgeable and compassionate. To the one reviewer who complained he didn't call back her husband... why should he? You already saw a specialist who basically confirmed what Bekker said about the test results... he's a single doctor office, not a corporation like IHA, UofM or Henry Ford, can you imagine how many patients expect calls, appointments, medication changes, tests ordered, etc... do you really think you are his priority with a call about normal results, which he already told you before you went ahead with a specialist? Then you give him a 1 star because he didn't call you back then he did and "almost" hung up on you. How was your demeanor on the other end, I wonder? Unbelievable. His profession is a doctor and I have seen him for close to 10 years, he has ALWAYS shown concern, interest, compassion for me. I had a herniated disc on my C-6 2 yrs ago, he ordered a MRI and got me in within 3 days. His office staff is friendly, helpful and knows everyone by their first name, your not a number like in the corporate facilities. Dr. Bekker is one of the few doctors who practice solo. I love that and I will stay with Dr Bekker until he retires.
