Detroit Leadership Academy

They are amazing they take the time to actually work with your child one on one they have a amazing team of leaders and teachers the bus schedule can be unorganized but thats there only issue they love the kids they have family services and resources they assist the community and so much more we a big family and if you dont like them just leave you part of the problem instead of being part of the solution

The school is a small intimate network of teachers, support team, parents, and most importantly students. Student get to achieve at their own level/pace while striving to meet/reach required academic standards. I love the character development and social skills expected from students.

While the school can be more proactive in keeping parents informed on activities & events and leadership mainly principals change from year to year the structure seems to remain in tact.

I've extremely happy with this school. The staff is friendly, professional and caring. The school is clean, and the children seem happy to be there.
I'm proud that my son is attending (good his second year). I plan for my daughter to one day attend.
