“I have to write this review because I've been to almost every soul food restuarant in Detroit and I have to say that ever since my co-worker invited me out to Jay's for breakfast I always wanted to go back and I haven't stopped going. Jay's does Soul Food right. They have a variety of menu items that are mouth watering and the food keeps you going back for more. I truly recommend Jay's Cafe as one of Detroit's hottest spots for food that will definitely make you come back. Keep up the great work Jay's Cafe!💯♥️”

“this is a mission, anew church plant.. they have great activities going on, a lot of really great people the, and it's a Forgotten Harvest ministry there also for which you can come out to volunteer or be served on Tuesdays when they feed the hungry with boxes of good food and produce to take home.. the pastor there is awesome, the congregation there is wonderful and welcoming. most importantly they teach the whole man about God. it's a little different but it's wonderful! the gate 2 thumbs up in my book!”
