Campbell | Detroit Public Library

I was delighted to discover that they were in the middle of a thriving neighborhood. We were treated with courtesy and all of the staff were proud of their library . Clean and inviting.

Parking is in the lot across the street from the library. The building is kept very clean and the staff love books! They are very friendly and helpful in recommending books that my kids will enjoy.

Everybody here was great the staff and the security guard. The only problem I had was with the guy that cleans the bathrooms. He wouldn’t let my child go into the bathroom with me despite the fact that my child is considered disabled by the federal government. However, the bathrooms were very clean. If a parent is trying to take their child into the bathroom they should be allow too. It took everything I had not to flip out on him. He lucky I’m working on my attitude and I’m in another city and state. What a way to start off my vacation.

Friendly and professional
Overall best Library experience. The staff helped with resources and explained Library regulations including assistance with the printing process. I was greeted coming in and asked to return on the way out as well as the door being held open. I was very impressed by the staff and the manner in which they performed their positions. They seemed to really love their work.
