Glen Eden Memorial Park

Most of my family is here. It is beautiful and serene. The staff has been excellent to me and my family.

I am two hours away from Glen Eden. My mom is buried there. I'm not sure what time the cemetery opens, but it closes at sunset. 4:30 in the winter and I think 8:30 pm in the summer. I think those hours are fair. I don't have Perpetual Care since I get into Livonia every month and can care for the stone myself. I have no complaints at all regarding them. When they put a grave blanket on that wasn't satisfactory, they replaced it. I recommend.

As you can see in my photo's, the ground is soft at this cemetery and sinks many stones below the thick grass surface. The caretakers mows and weed-wacks the area regularly, but lately more and more dead spots and weeds are showing up.

The hours are fair, but limited. I think Sunday's are reserved for burials and private ceremony's though.

As of 30 years ago, you could buy an affordable plot here, once. But there's probably a good chance it is full now or they require monthly payments for life.
