Sheehy Animal Hospital

Today was my first visit with my dog and I have to say it was INCREDIBLE. The techs were kind and gentle, the vet took his time explaining and was so loving with my dog. Frankly the vet was just so helpful and smart and related things so well to my husband and I. They are fear free and I cannot express how happy I am with this place. My dog was so happy there even though she was in pain!

I was very impressed with the knowledge and patience of the staff at this clinic. I am hopeful to make them our permanent vet. After moving to the area in 2020 we've been struggling to find a vet we feel comfortable bringing our babies to and I fully intend to have the rest of our pets seen at Sheehy in the future. Dr. Davis was extremely pleasant on the phone when we got blood work back for our senior cat and the vet who saw him (I have since forgotten his name and I apologize for that) was very informative and showed real concern. I definitely recommend them to anyone who is currently looking for a vet.

My cat has been experiencing vomiting and coughs for some years now. I have been taking her to VCA animal hospital and I swear to you they just want you to keep coming back for extra cash. My cats problems NEVER resolved and they never provide that reassurance that everything will be ok. Just a, “if problems persist, give us a call.” Now, Dr. Davis has been my family vet for 20+ years. As soon as I heard he was still in the Vet game, I scheduled an appointment ASAP!!!

God bless him. He works on pets like they’re his own and had the greatest personality you will ever come across. I told him all these problems that have been going on in my cat and he calmly looked at me and said, “okay here’s what you need!” He seriously calmed me down so quick. My cat has not been eating for 2 days. Today after the visit, I gave my cat the paste he recommended and she was EATING 2 HOURS LATER!!! My family and I are so happy we found Dr. Davis again. You’re the man. Never change, Dr. Davis!!

My family has loved Dr. Davis for years, I recently got my own puppy and at 10 weeks old he suddenly had some bad symptoms of something being wrong. Called Sheehy first thing and they fit us in their busy schedule. Even with how crazy busy I could see they were, Dr. Davis showed amazing compassion, quickly diagnosed my puppy, recommended a plan, and referred to a specialist, who he then regularly followed up with. I wish I knew the names of the other people there, but ultimately everyone I interacted with was so helpful, quick and kind. It’s so scary when such a young pup is sick like mine was, but the compassion and attention shown at Sheehy was amazing. I was so well informed, and I know my Sam was well taken care of. I cannot recommend this team enough, they are busy and there is a wait for an appointment, but I can see why. Your furry friend is in good hands here, not only are they knowledgeable, but they are so loving and compassionate towards your fur baby. It’s easy to spot that everyone here is a big lover of animals and will take great care of your pet. 100/10.

We have been here 3 x this year. First time was an emergency on Saturday for our cat, and the other 2x were for vaccines and general yearly exams. Dr. Brad Davis, DVM is wonderful. The entire staff is wonderful. We switched from veterinarian Livonia hospital on Farmington road that we went to for 6 years straight to Sheehy because they are closer to home, and treat our cats and us very good
