Great very processional and keeps customers safe with cleaning measures . Only takes existing patients with severe health issues at the present time for safety.
When I first moved to Southeast Michigan it took me a while to find a good massage therapist. After several tries I found a gem in Lucy. She is very good. Never rushes and applies the perfect amount of pressure. I had previous L5 S1 surgery and she knows exactly how to treat that. She is very friendly and easy to talk to. Highly recommend! I also had a few acupuncture treatments and can say I feel better because of it.
Great service and great people! I went there for a massage of my neck and shoulder. it was so good that I didn't want it to finish. The doctor also gave me a free consultation.
Lucy is a wonderful masseuse! She always does a thorough job, never feel rushed. Takes a personal interest in all her customers to make sure they're happy with their care. Schedule appointment or call, usually can get in same day. Good pricing, offers discount packages.
As a man in my 60’s I have had issues with back pain for the past couple of decades. I had been treated over the years by physical medicine specialists, physical therapists, and chiropractors, however the results were usually disappointing. I’m a runner, but for the past couple of years I have also been bothered by pain in my knees and hips which at times has made it difficult for me to run.
Last year I was looking forward to participating in a half marathon that I had entered, as well as a medical mission trip to South America a few months later. The training for the half marathon was becoming increasingly painful and it was becoming doubtful to me whether I would be able to participate. I was also wondering whether my back would be able to stand up to the long flight for the mission trip. A friend of my brothers suggested that I make an appointment with Lucy Li, his massage therapist at First Oriental Therapy Center. I was a little skeptical, never having tried massage therapy, but I took his advice and I’m glad I did.
On my first visit I was pleased by Lucy Li’s professionalism and friendliness, and afterward I felt much better. After a couple of more sessions the pain was almost completely gone, and ultimately, I was able to complete the half marathon (I’m currently in training for a full marathon), and I had no back problems following the long flight to Peru. I now see Lucy monthly and am pain free. I think that perhaps Lucy’s clients benefit by the fact that she was trained as a massage therapist both in China and the US and she makes use of techniques learned in both countries. I highly recommend First Oriental Therapy Center.
