(September 11, 2022, 1:37 pm)The visitor center is open Thursday through Sunday 9 to 4. The centers displays are excellent for children of all ages. The outdoor trails are open dawn to dusk. A great place for bird watching. And now it's the season for migrating birds
(August 2, 2022, 10:18 am)Wow, what a great place! We kayaked out of here, headed upstream and made it to the Thorofare Canal. Exited out the other side, cut back up through Hennepin Point and paddled back down!
This spot has an amazing kayak launch that makes it much easier to put in and get out. All around a lovely place

(May 22, 2022, 5:16 pm)I love the park, but I wish they would enforce the rules about not fishing in areas outside of the fishing pier. Had to pick up fishing garbage on the trails again
