“My mom has been at Bickford Senior Assisted Living in Shelby Twp for almost two years. She has dementia and has been able to manage with assistance. At ninety she still enjoys participating in many of the activities available. The activities director makes every day a special day. She knows how to get residents involved. Today they had a Baked off event. Staff and resident families brought in a variety of desserts. Six residents rated each dessert. They scored each dessert. The other residents and families also ate samples too. It was fun watching the activity director ask residents why they liked or disliked a dessert. Everyone had a good time. Thank you staff for making my mom and all residents feel like family.”
