“I just had my first dry float session at The Color Box in Michigan, and it was absolutely incredible. This was a Mother’s Day gift from my partner, and it turned out to be one of the best gifts I’ve ever received. The experience lasted 45 minutes and from start to finish, it was pure relaxation. I was wrapped in a warm cocoon, floating inside a private pod, and the sensation was so soothing and peaceful. What made it even more amazing was that I never touched water. My body and hair stayed completely dry the whole time, which made the experience super comfortable and easy. The space itself is beautiful and calming, with soft lighting and a peaceful vibe as soon as you walk in. The team at The Color Box was friendly and welcoming, and they explained everything clearly, so I knew exactly what to expect. During the float, I was given a warm weighted eye mask that helped me fully relax. The scent of essential oils filled the room and added another layer of comfort. To top it all off, I received a head and scalp massage that felt incredible and really helped me unwind. When the session was over, I felt lighter, calmer, and mentally refreshed. It was as if my body had taken a long nap and my mind had finally unplugged from the noise of everyday life. I can’t recommend this enough. Linda exceeded my expectations and really delivered in both the haircut and perm, but also the customer service! When doing my hair she thought of different hairstyles I would have and made sure that the hair would look good in all styles, up or down. She thinks ahead in the process and you can tell that she's had a lot of experience, which she has. She's a really diligent worker that delivers both quality, timeliness, and price! Her studio is decorated with these beautiful paintings that were drawn by her too! I definitely plan on coming back!
