“After feeling dissatisfied with my experience at a local public high school, I transferred to Regina. As a new student, I was worried about not fitting in, however everyone is so welcoming and I made so many lifelong friendships within my first week of school! My only regret about Regina is that I did not transfer earlier! There is simply nothing like it; There is great emphasis on sisterhood and tradition. Students are so positive and encouraging, which creates a fun but competitive learning environment. Although the school is smaller, this is only an advantage because you really get to know everyone and small class sizes are great. Additionally, you will be very prepared for college because academics are extremely challenging, with offered Honors and Advanced Placement classes. Teachers really care about their students and make themselves available to provide extra help to students whenever necessary. Additionally, Regina requires all students to have an electronic device in all classes, meaning the learning activities are endless- which helps in accommodating all learning styles. It is so easy to get involved with countless clubs and extracurriculars offered. The cafeteria food is very tasty, and all must try the iconic Regina cookie. The Counseling department is actively involved, organizing several assemblies throughout the school year, and meeting with students individually at least once a month. I was hesitant to transfer to a new school as a Junior, however the Admissions Department is excellent in answering all of your questions, as well as encouraging friendships by introducing you to current students.”

“I have lived in Ferndale since 2002 less than a half mile from school grounds. I did not go to the high school and do not have any children in the school. I live adjacent to the school. So my review is on my interaction with the grounds, and for voting. 1. The grounds and exterior of the school are well maintained. I run and drive past it daily and have rarely seen a light out or any rubbish in 15 years. 2. The lawn and fields are well maintain both during the year and summertime. 3. I have used the school for voting about 10 times and it has always been clean and well maintained. Obviously the building is starting to look a bit dated, but nothing was broken or showed wear, poor upkeep or lack of fresh paint/carpet. 4. The sports field is in excellent shape. And the PA system works a bit too well, I heard their game clearly from my house which from the field is about 3/4 of a mile away. Also the field is secured so don't expect to use the track or play a pickup game. With the money they put into it I am glad they spent the money to protect the investment. 5. Bonus info. Ferndale High School band is very good and practices ALOT.... If you live as near as I do expect to hear them for months each year practicing to 9pm at night and on the weekends.”

“My son has improved his math skills because of the awesome math teacher that he has at Four corners. She is so sweet and kind with the kids and has a lot of patience. My son’s teachers are passionate about teaching their students and work hard to make sure the students are academically succeeding. “This school is amazing, while not allowed to have phones in class this past year and some of our teachers are tough they do it to better us, bullying is not tolerated buy the staff, this school is one of the best learning experiences. The teachers are nice but they expect a level of respect that you have to be willing to give, in order to earn their respect back. Overall even though this is only my second year in Woodbridge I think this school is a great learning environment”

“Peaceful ambiance in person also virtually. Having a video sessions was amazing and well needed during quarantine. I enjoy her personal touch added to each class. No class is exactly the same. The instructor is motivating and understanding to individual needs. This class is suited for newbies as well as seasoned vets. Various classes offered including ones where you are seated the entire practice doing a wide range of poses. I would strongly recommend Lil Birdie Yoga to everyone. Also her prices are very affordable with special and packages available.”
