She is patient, but firm, talented, but understands the perspective of a beginner, classically trained in one of Russia's best schools, but learned in modern teaching techniques. She has always been good with my kids, always keeps her cool, and explains things using words that kids would understand. She goes above and beyond to help her students. I especially enjoy the group music history lessons that she sometimes hold on weekends, where she provides interesting stories about composers and periods of music, and which she does totally out of her own time.”
