We were in the area with my husband and stop to eat at the park, when we noticed that the center was open, so decided to take a look. They have several interactive stations geared for kid, but adults can also learn and have fun too. It’s open with limited capacity. We came in on a week day in the afternoon and we had the whole place to ourselves. Thanks to the team and staff that keep this place available for everyone.
Nice park, no dogs or bicycles allowed. There's a mix of forest and water. We saw turtles, fish, a friendly goose, nutra rat, and a couple deer
The trails are beautiful. Get place to go walking with someone or alone. Walking on the trails is peaceful
Beautiful Trails over level ground. Trails are not cleared of snow in the winter so it can be rough going depending on snowfall and compaction. Definitely not suitable for handicap or those needing assistance. Trails are unlit for night time. Nature Center is temporarily closed for covid-19 safety.
