All shops asked me to live it in their parking and come back the next week, but when I called Blatz and explained that I'm in a hurry, he accepted to diagnose it and finally found out that it just needed to add some oil, and also advised me to replace another part for a reasonable price. “I absolutely cannot say enough about how Joe went out of his way to help me. My daughter had a fender bender on our ‘04 CRV. She’s 600mi from home and the vehicle had to get towed to a towing yard. I called him thinking he was a body shop. When I realized he wasn’t I told him I’m sorry for wasting his time. He then offered to go look at the vehicle to see if it was worth fixing. He sent photos and said he’d be happy to try to fix it. Two weeks later it was done. Although I haven’t seen it yet my daughter said it looks great. And on top of it he saved me about $3000. “Amazing service and great to work with! Highly recommend them for auto service - especially transmission work! We purchased a vehicle earlier this year and started having transmission issues. At the time of purchase, we had also purchased an extended warranty to cover major mechanical repairs as the vehicle was previously owned. After attempting to work with another shop that diagnosed thousands in repair needs and told us the harsh shifting and engine whine was a flex fuel sensor and the power steering pump needing replacement - not the transmission, we found Linear Transmission. They did a great job working with us and the warranty company to get the transmission replaced. Estimated costs that we would have to pay were explained upfront. They had a loaner available so that during the time of repair, we weren't trying to figure out transportation. The vehicle is driving great. No issues with shifting gears or whining noises.
