“Pat was gracious enough to return my phone call right away to answer some questions I had about a wiring issue with under-cabinet lights I was installing myself and the breaker was tripping as soon as I flipped them on. He shared what is a common issue with this type of installation and how to resolve it. He was 100% correct with his over the phone diagnosis. “We had our wedding here in October 2020. The Church was very accommodating, considering all that was going with COVID. Overall I would recommend having a wedding here. The Church was very flexible with us having to change our date due to COVID-19. And the pre-marriage sessions with Deacon George were life-changing and allowed us to connect better with each other and God. The one growth opportunity for the Church: I honestly felt a disconnect between the coordinator the night before and the coordinator the day of. The night before, the coordinator told us that the wedding party did not have masks while going up/down the aisle and while up at the alter. But once seated, they had to wear masks; I was like, "okay, I can live with that." But 3 minutes before I was walking down the aisle, The coordinator says that everyone (but the bride and groom) needs to be in masks, including my parents walking by my side. Overall this was a minor thing and the only thing that didn't go as planned. I would recommend that a little more planning/consistency would elevate this problem. Not having a global pandemic would nix this problem entirely.”

“I absolutely cannot say enough about how Joe went out of his way to help me. My daughter had a fender bender on our ‘04 CRV. She’s 600mi from home and the vehicle had to get towed to a towing yard. I called him thinking he was a body shop. When I realized he wasn’t I told him I’m sorry for wasting his time. He then offered to go look at the vehicle to see if it was worth fixing. He sent photos and said he’d be happy to try to fix it. Two weeks later it was done. Although I haven’t seen it yet my daughter said it looks great. And on top of it he saved me about $3000. “This is a good place to start a college education without sinking into debt. Anoka-Ramsey has the lowest tuition in Minnesota and is one of the top ten community colleges in the nation. My oldest daughter received your associate degree a few years ago and my youngest daughter just started fall 2022. Her first day was this week and many on campus commented the parking lots have not been this full for several years. It’s good to see some normalcy again. I walked the entire campus and was impressed how well it is maintained The instructors are personable and faculty very helpful.”

“For starters, I just want to say, hire this contractor to do your new siding or roof renovations because you will not be disappointed. Like many other folks in Oakdale, we had pretty significant hail damage to our roof and siding as the result of a bad storm in May 2022. We had no experience filing a claim on our homeowners insurance, and we hired a contractor that turned out to be a disaster. Luckily, we were able to get out of our dealings with them unscathed. Our insurance agent recommended Mike Swafford with A Team Construction, and after dealing with the previous contractor, Mike was like a breath of fresh air! It was evident after our first meeting that Mike had integrity, and we felt we could trust him, and that feeling bared out. He explained the whole process with reimbursement on an insurance claim and how that worked, so we felt at ease immediately. He had a great selection of brands and colors to choose from for both roof and siding. He made some awesome suggestions about color choices and schemes that were very helpful. The other thing about Mike is that he got back to me with every email, text, and phone call within a day. He is accountable and true to his word without exception. All of the jobs were done on time. The new roof and skylights were completed in one day in October, and we couldn't be happier. Everything was neat as a pin when they finished. The siding job with new gutters and trim was just completed in mid-May. We are BLOWN AWAY by how great the house looks. And, the crew finished it in three days! The crew was great, they did an AWESOME job and we could not be happier. You will not be disappointed if you hire A Team Construction to do your home siding and roof renovations. I'm so grateful they were referred to us!”

“Amazing service and great to work with! Highly recommend them for auto service - especially transmission work! We purchased a vehicle earlier this year and started having transmission issues. At the time of purchase, we had also purchased an extended warranty to cover major mechanical repairs as the vehicle was previously owned. After attempting to work with another shop that diagnosed thousands in repair needs and told us the harsh shifting and engine whine was a flex fuel sensor and the power steering pump needing replacement - not the transmission, we found Linear Transmission. They did a great job working with us and the warranty company to get the transmission replaced. Estimated costs that we would have to pay were explained upfront. They had a loaner available so that during the time of repair, we weren't trying to figure out transportation. The vehicle is driving great. No issues with shifting gears or whining noises.
