“It's a nice, small area of sandy beach with a children's playground. The swimming area is surrounded by a net for safety. The lake is beautiful of course. The neighborhood surrounding it is full of well-manicured homes and gardens making for a scenic place to take a long walk. The only warning to give is that the playground/beach is only accessible by a long flight of stairs. If you or someone with you has a condition that makes stairs challenging, either prepare for a workout or consider another playground.”

They mentioned they have a monthly subscription program for $79/month which is also a good deal if you plan to get one massage a month. I don't go that often, so my only suggestion is for something like a punch card where you can come whenever you want for a discounted rate (but not as discounted as the monthly subscription obviously). “Foss has been great for our family. Both our now-10yo who was already a decent swimmer, and my now-4yo who started when she was 2 with no water experience have flourished at Foss. We’ve done regular classes as well as the 2-week camps and both have been helpful, though the classes generally work better for our schedule. We’ve had a variety of energetic, patient, playful and very knowledgeable instructors, most of whom very obviously love the work they do. I would definitely recommend Foss to anyone and everyone.”

“I went to Lavin to pick up elbow pads for my 11 year old. The salesman was very helpful while not being pushy. I also brought my son's stick in to ask a couple questions about it. The salesman offered me a little advice on a free way to make the stick legal. He could have tried to sell me a new stick but he specifically told me to wait and have my son use this one since the mesh was still in good shape. I will definitely be going back here and would highly recommend it.”
