My wife and I recently moved into Lake Jonathan Flats, Sheila Stevens, the PropertyMgr. has been very helpful and knowledgeable and makes sure she gets back to us with any unanswered questions, she’s a big part of the reason we decided to rent here.
Jonathan Flats has all the amenities that we were looking for and are well maintain, the lake out our back window is a real bonus to look at each night and with a paved walking path around it gets plenty of use.
A added bonus is the convenience of having all of your shopping needs within walking distance.
I highly recommend that anyone who is considering living in the southwest metro area should visit Lake Jonathan Flats.
This has to be one of the best apartments I've lived in. It's quite, clean, well lit, and a newer building. It's on upper grace lake which is connected to a bunch of wonderful hiking and mtn biking trails that travel throuout chaska for miles. The management here is also phenomenal Sheila our landlord is very experienced and a very great peoples person. She's been very good at making sure any of my concerns with the apartment were handled promptly and has always went the extra mile really hope this management stays awhile. I'd recommend if the above is what you are looking for.
From the second I walked into the leasing office, I felt that I was in safe hands with Sheila (property manager). I’ve signed my lease just today, but the welcome I received alone deserve at least 10 stars!
Love living here. My husband and I moved here from Arizona and it is wonderful. The apartment building is only around three years old, so everything is in good condition and looks beautiful. We love our apartment and it's lakeview balcony. With the lake just steps away from the apartment building, we really like the quick access to the outdoor activities that we can do. The property is perfect for anyone with a dog, since there is so many trails nearby to walk. The amenities are great. There are two patios overlooking the lake on the property. One of which is on the rooftop with a grill and enough furniture to entertain a small party, while the other has two grills and two fire pits to stay warm on those cooler nights. One of my most favorite of the amenities is the coffee and hot chocolate bar that is available for use anytime, stocked with anything you could possibly need to make a great cup of coffee 😀. There is also a beautiful downstairs entertainment room that is fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, tv, granite countertop island, furniture, and guest restrooms, which can be scheduled to use for parties and events.
The location is great too, with restaurants, a super Target and a Cub foods just across the street from the property.
The staff here are friendly, personable, and very responsive with whatever you need. Sheila, Dani, and Kevin all make Jonathon Flats a wonderful place to live. It would not be the same without them.
My wife and I love living here. Building is newer in a great location on Lake Jonathan with easy access to biking/running/hiking trails directly behind us. All within a minute drive you have easy access to groceries, gas, takeout food, etc. Amenities are wonderful with balconies, granite countertops, new stainless steel appliances, dishwashers, plus individual heat and A/C where the staff will routinely change the air filter. Garbage disposal was overlooked as a kitchen amenity, but we make do. There's a fitness center, community room on the back of the building with full kitchen, large back community patio and rooftop terrace for your use any time you'd like. Back patio and rooftop have gas grills. Included underground parking is a major plus for the winter. If you need more parking spots, there are plenty outside and we've never had a problem.
Completely agree with other reviewers about the staff — Sheila, Kevin and Dani are friendly, personable and super responsive to any needs we have. We'll eventually move out to a home one day but this place is great!
