Great park for kids, there's a playground for toddlers and a separate playground for bigger kids. Pretty private, but welcoming area. There's a nice loop trail for hiking or dog walking.
Nice park to take the kids for a couple hours. Also has some trails I haven't explored yet. My son loves this park. Also has BBQ stands for public use. No bathroom though.
Two play structures (one big, one little) and picnic tables with grills dominate the north end of this hilltop wooded 5 acre park. From S. 146th Street you might not realize the park extends two city blocks to the south, dropping nearly 100’ in elevation down to S 148th Street, offering some nice views along the way.
Two trails are clearly marked, both with a grade ranging from 2-10%. One is a soft surface trail (with a few stairs) for hikers, and the other trail is wide, nicely paved, and ADA compliant. The paved trail is dotted with benches, picnic tables with barbecue grills, and lovely views.
The south entrance to the park is not that clearly marked, and the interpretive trailhead is also not obvious.
The trails are always well kept, the dogs all run and play together. My kids and I love to see all the different dogs and our dog is always happy to make a new friend
Love taking our dog here. She loves the amount of space where she can run free.
The best place to go with my pup. All of the dogs & owners are welcoming to newcomers. I love that I can go for a nice walk within the park as well!
Pretty good park for letting the little guy run some trails and explore with you. Loved it
Hands down best dog park I’ve been to. Fenced in small and large dog park with water, bags and dumpster. HUGE park full of trees and trails. Great escape. $6.50 day pass, $80 year pass. Trails groomed in winter also.
What a nice park. There is no parking though, you have to park out on the street. It is a busy street very dangerous when putting kids in-and-out of car.
Overall this is a great Park to take your kids! The downsides are there is no parking and only one porta potty. There are two play structures one for older kids and one for smaller kids, four swings, two of which are for toddlers, and a seriously fun climbing wall. I didn't get the chance to check out the trails going off towards the back but it seemed very dog friendly.
